BRIEF: Joakim Noah out for Wednesday's Bulls game vs. Nets

Dec. 09--The Bulls held Joakim Noah out of practice for a second straight day Tuesday and later declared him out for Wednesday's home game against Brooklyn.

Noah has rolled his right ankle in two of the last three games but has finished all of them. The Bulls haven't played since losing at home to Golden State on Saturday.

"Just an opportunity to give him another day of rest," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said.

Doug McDermott will miss his fourth straight game with a right knee injury, which Thibodeau said McDermott is rehabbing. McDermott practiced last week and got re-examined by team physician Brian Cole on Saturday, saying afterward that the injury is still minor but has swelling.

McDermott is also out while Taj Gibson (left ankle) was listed as probable.

The Bulls beat the Nets last week in Brooklyn, and the Nets said Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez and Andrei Kirilenko all will miss Wednesday's game with injuries.
