BRIEF: Jennifer Hudson releases video for 'I Still Love You'

June 04--South Side native Jennifer Hudson released a music video Wednesday for her single "I Still Love You."

The video tackles marriage equality by showing a father's struggle as his son prepares to marry a man. The single is from Hudson's 2014 album "JHUD."

Hudson, 33, is a spokeswoman for Turn It Up For Change: Love Has No Limit, a campaign for marriage equality by W Hotels and the Human Rights Campaign. Hudson said she will donate a portion of the proceeds from the downloads of "I Still Love You" to the campaign.

"I grew up surrounded and supported by the gay community and I just want to make sure I show them the same support and this is my way of doing it," Hudson told MTV. "This is the perfect way to show my support through my music and just be there to support, because again the gay community has always been my biggest support system it's just me showing the love back."
