Jan. 26--Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy announced Tuesday he will perform two shows in May to benefit education.
The annual fundraiser will be held May 13-14 at the Vic Theatre, 3145 N. Sheffield Ave., with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the shows scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
General admission tickets on the main floor or in the balcony cost $75 while VIP tickets for seats in front of the stage cost $150. Tickets are slated to go on sale 12 p.m. Friday.
Wilco released its album "Star Wars" before performing at the Pitchfork Music Festival at Union Park in July.
