BRIEF: Jason Heyward returns to Cubs lineup

May 24--After missing three games because of a bruise on his right side, right fielder Jason Heyward will return to the Chicago Cubs lineup Tuesday night against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Heyward, who landed hard on his right side Friday night after making a diving catch and crashing into the fence in right center at AT Park, will bat second.

Heyward is 2-for-15 on this three-city, nine-game trip that concludes Wednesday.

David Ross will catch Jason Hammel, meaning that Miguel Montero will likely start in Wednesday series finale and catch Jake Arrieta.
