BRIEF: Jason Benetti, Steve Stone team up for 10 televised White Sox spring training games

Jan. 27--New White Sox TV play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti will team with color analyst Steve Stone for all 10 televised Sox spring training broadcasts this year.

Nine will air on Comcast SportsNet and one will be shown on WGN-9. The club will also have 10 webcasts on whitesox.com, and WLS-AM 890, the team's new flagship radio station, will broadcast 14 games.

The first televised game, on WGN-9, will be March 12, when the Sox face the Cubs in Mesa, Ariz. The first CSN broadcast will be March 18, when the Sox host the Cubs at Camelback Ranch. The final TV broadcast of the spring will be March 30 against the Reds on CSN.

Benetti is in his first season as Sox play-by-play announcer. He will work mostly Sox home regular-season games, while longtime broadcaster Ken "Hawk" Harrelson will work games on the road.

Ed Farmer and Darrin Jackson will team for the radio broadcasts, while Brian Anderson and Russ Langer will participate in the webcasts.
