June 15--After months out of the spotlight, Janet Jackson will be returning to the stage this summer with a 36-date tour that includes two Chicago shows.
Jackson, 49, will be at the Chicago Theatre on Nov. 3 and 4 as part of her Unbreakable World Tour. The shows will be at 8 p.m.
Jackson's tour kicks off in Vancouver, British Columbia, in August before wrapping up in November in Hawaii.
Tickets go on sale June 22 through Ticketmaster. Tickets can also be purchased at the Chicago Theatre box office.
Jackson's 11th studio album, her first since 2008's "Discipline," is set to come out in the fall. Jackson's last tour, the Number Ones, Up Close and Personal World Tour, was four years ago. She performed at the Chicago Theatre in March 2011 as part of that tour.
Since then, she became a weight-loss spokeswoman for Nutrisystem. She also married businessman Wissam Al Mana in 2012.
