BRIEF: Italian rugby player tests positive for 11 banned substances

March 25--They say go big or go home.

That seemed like the case for Italian rugby player Davide Vasta, who was caught using 11 banned substances during a random drug test.

Vasta plays for the Italian rugby club Amatori Catania, based in Sicily.

According to the Italian publication La Gazzetta, that number is a new record, surpassing the previous mark of seven.

Vasta told La Gazzetta that he took the drugs more than a year ago.

Here's what he tested positive for:

Testosterone, boldenone metabolite, drostanolone, mesterolone, Methandienone, methasterone, methyldienolone, stenbolone metabolite, clomiphene metabolite, 19-noretiocholanolone and 19-norandrosterone.

Most of the substances are anabolic, but Vasta also was caught using a drug to "resize the mammary glands."

One of the side effects of using such anabolics is the growth of breasts in men.
