BRIEF: Irene Kassorla to join Malibu beach crowd this summer

April 17--Psychologist Irene Kassorla, whom entertainer Merv Griffin dubbed the "shrink to the stars" due to her celebrity clientele, is leasing a furnished vacation spot in Malibu this summer that was listed at $20,000 a month.

The contemporary condominium sits along the sand with unobstructed views of the ocean. Walls of glass, high ceilings and an oceanfront patio contribute to a feeling of spaciousness and light in the unit.

A living room with a fireplace, a dining area, a den, three bedrooms and three bathrooms are within the 2,411 square feet of interior space. The kitchen has a double oven and granite counters.

There's a two-car garage.

Kassorla is a world-renowned lecturer and author. Her book "Nice Girls Do" became a must-read during the sexual revolution of the 1960s to 1980s.

Bob Rubenstein of Coldwell Banker was the leasing agent.
