BRIEF: Interrobang announces 2015-16 season

June 25--Interrobang Theatre Project announced its 2015-16 season on Thursday. The three-play roster includes the local premiere of the newest play by Rajiv Joseph.

But first is "Katrina: Mother-in-Law of 'Em All" by Rob Florence. It's a true recounting of several New Orleans residents' survival during Hurricane Katrina. Georgette Verdin will direct the play at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Next is "Recent Tragic Events" by Craig Wright. Wright's drama, also to be directed by Verdin, is about a blind date on Sept. 12, 2001. The show will be produced at the Athenaeum Theatre, 2936 N. Southport Ave.

And last is the play by Joseph, best known for his "Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo." His new drama "The North Pool" is set in motion by a high school boy being called into the Vice Principal's office. "The North Pool" will be directed by James Yost, also at the Athenaeum.
