Dec. 04--The Chicago Tribune Media Group's Post-Tribune is reporting that a young coyote injured in a fall from a Gary parking garage is doing well and is expected to be released in the woods in Liberty Township in six to eight weeks.
"She's doing pretty good. She's still really scared," Becky Brockton, a veterinary assistant at Westchester Animal Clinic told the paper.
The coyote jumped from the fourth floor of the parking garage of the former Gary State Bank, fracturing two bones in her front leg.
