April 19--An Indianapolis man has been charged in connection with a shooting that left a 20-year-old man in critical condition, police said.
Cornell Wyrick, 24, and the other man were arguing with each other in the 7200 block of South Prairie on Sunday night when Wyrick pulled out a handgun and shot him in the stomach and leg, according to a news release from Chicago police.
Wyrick was charged with aggravated battery, a felony, and is expected to appear in court Tuesday.
