June 19--A 58-year-old northwest Indiana man died in a car crash Thursday evening in south suburban Lansing, authorities said.
Thomas Kiral, of the 6500 block of Idaho Avenue in Hammond, was injured in a car crash at 178th Street and Torrence Avenue, according to a statement from the Lake County coroner's office.
Kiral was taken to Community Hospital in Munster, where he was pronounced dead at 9:21 p.m., according to the statement. He died from a blunt force trauma, the statement said.
No other information about the accident was immediately available.
