Nov. 21--Illinois left tackle Simon Cvijanovic is out for the season.
Earlier in the week, coach Tim Beckman sounded hopeful the lineman would return for Saturday's game against Penn State. He injured his shoulder against Ohio State and missed last week's game against Iowa.
The senior had started every game this season before his injury.
The loss is a blow to the Illini's line. They are already without guard Teddy Karras, who is also out for the season with a knee injury.
