BRIEF: Iggy Pop, Josh Homme announce April show in Chicago

Jan. 27--Iggy Pop and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme announced Wednesday they will perform at the Chicago Theatre in April as part of a two-month tour to support their upcoming album.

The tour, which also features Queens of the Stone Age's Dean Fertita and Troy Van Leeuwen, Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders and Chavez frontman Matt Sweeney, is slated to kick off in March in Seattle and wrap up in France in May.

The group is set to perform at the Chicago Theatre at 8 p.m. April 6. Tickets, which cost $39.50-$99.50, are scheduled to go on sale via the theater Saturday at 10 a.m. The "Post Pop Depression" album is due out March 18.
