BRIEF: 'I live in Chicago, this doesn't bother me:' NBA refs read mean tweets

Feb. 15--Don't just yell at your television when a call goes against the Bulls. Tweet the referees at @OfficialNBARefs.

But as always, the refs are watching.

In a video posted Saturday night, NBA referees read mean tweets directed at them, ranging from "If I had to make Mr. Potato Head NBA ref, it would be Tony Brothers because of his unibrow" to "Please tell me Joey Crawford isn't doing the game tonight, if he is we are all screwed."

Chicago-native James Capers had perhaps the best retort after reading: "I'm coming for yall if we lose."

"Now I live in Chicago. You know this doesn't bother me," said the longtime NBA referee who attended Hales Franciscan High School and Northern Illinois.
