BRIEF: Hyatt says 200 Gold Passport accounts hacked

April 21--Hyatt said the accounts of about 200 of the 18 million members in its Gold Passport hotel rewards program have been hacked.

All members of the program who log into their accounts with a username, rather than with their account number, will be required to change their passwords, said Hyatt spokeswoman Amy Patti.

The company recently discovered the unauthorized access by an individual who logged into accounts with usernames and passwords. All reward points that may have been deducted from accounts have been restored, Patti said.
