BRIEF: Huntington Beach woman stabbed, husband arrested

Nov. 28--A Huntington Beach man stabbed his wife numerous times during a dispute on Thursday morning and was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, according to police.

Officers responded to a domestic violence report in the 6100 block of Edinger Avenue around 9:40 a.m. to discover a woman and a man with stab wounds, according to a news release issued by the Huntington Beach Police Department.

Police believe the man inflicted his own as well as his wife's wounds, the release said. Both were transported to local hospitals and are expected to survive.

The department did not immediately release the identity of the arrested man or his wife.
