BRIEF: Four wounded in Huntington Beach shooting

Dec. 14--A shooting Sunday morning in Huntington Beach left four people wounded, authorities said.

Officers were called to the 17000 block of Keelson Lane about 10:45 a.m. and found the four wounded people "in the area," according to a statement from the Huntington Beach Police Department.

The shooting appeared to be related to gang activity in the area, police said. No arrests had been made by Sunday night.

The four shooting victims were taken to a hospital, police said. Two people remained hospitalized Sunday night, while two with minor injuries were treated and released, police said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Huntington Beach Police Department's special investigation bureau at (714) 536-5669.
