Oct. 06--For her sold-out Soldier Field shows in July, Taylor Swift brought to the stage model Lily Donaldson, country music artists Andy Grammer and Sam Hunt, "Empire" star Serayah McNeill and transgender model Andreja Pejic.
Entertainment Weekly tracked down some of the stars who graced the stage with Swift during her ongoing"1989" tour to find out how they ended up on her show squad. Pejic, an Australian model profiled in Vogue's May issue, told Yahoo! she had never met Swift before the Chicago concerts. Together, they danced to Swift's hit "Style."
"We have a mutual friend, and Taylor found out I was coming to the show with him in Chicago," Pejic told EW. "She called him, and her team also contacted my agency, publicist and my mother to see if I would be down to walk the runway for 'Style.' I was in the shower when I got the news and almost slipped and broke my neck!"
More than 54,000 tickets were sold for each of the two shows, a record for a solo female artist at Soldier Field.
"Sixty thousand is my biggest crowd," said Grammer, who sang his hit "Honey, I'm Good" with Swift on stage. "I'll remember sold-out Soldier Field forever."
