BRIEF: House announces final show in 2016-17 season

June 03--An adaptation by Althos Low (the pen name for Steve Pickering and creatives from Shanghai Low Theatricals) of Alastair Reynolds sci-fi story "Diamond Dogs" will complete The House Theatre's 2016-17 season.

The production, set in the future, follows characters caught in an alien tower and will be third in the company's season, running Jan. 13-March 5. Artistic director Nathan Allen will direct.

As previously announced, the season also includes "A Comedical Tragedy for Mister Punch" (Sept. 2-Oct. 23), "The Nutcracker" (Nov. 4 -- Dec. 30) and "The Great and Terrible Wizard of Oz" (March 17-May 7).

Performances will take place at the Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. Division St.
