BRIEF: Horses escape stables, run free in Burbank neighborhood before they're corralled

March 01--Two horses escaped from their stables Sunday evening and spent 15 minutes running through a Burbank neighborhood near the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, police said.

Around 6:15 p.m., a witness called police after seeing the two horses running near Mariposa Street and Riverside Drive, said Burbank Police Lt. Scott Meadows.
