BRIEF: Honey's opens Tuesday in Fulton Market district

June 06--Honey's (1111 W. Lake St., 312-877-5929), the latest addition to the booming Fulton Market restaurant scene, will open Tuesday.

Featuring executive chef and partner Charles Welch (formerly at mk and Sepia), Honey's will offer Mediterranean-influenced dishes and a rotating selection of five craft cocktails (also overseen by Welch) that will complement the food. General manager Tyrone Redic (whose resume includes work at Charlie Trotter's, L2O, Acadia and Grace) will oversee the operation.

On the menu, look for such dishes as marinated swordfish with spring-vegetable panzanella, bass with brandade and fennel, and fava bean and English pea falafel.
