Nov. 19--The Chicago Tribune Media Group's Post-Tribune reports: A Hobart man charged with killing a man he owed money to surrendered to authorities on Tuesday.

Thomas Smith, 63, accompanied by his lawyer, surrendered to police at the Lake County, Ind., Jail on Tuesday, police said. He is being held without bail on a murder charge filed Monday in the death of David Krawczenia.
