Sept. 17--Hershey Felder has announced a swap of shows in his upcoming programming at the Royal George Theatre.
The previously announced "Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin" will now open Oct. 30 and play through Dec. 6. The rags-to-riches tale of the American composer replaces the across-the-pond transplant "I Found My Horn."
"I Found My Horn," a one-man show in which a midlife crisis is solved by rediscovering an old instrument, will fill the spring slot at the Royal George. It is set to open in March, with "Baritones Unbound," a play about "the uncommon voice of the common man," opening after as originally planned.
"Jamaica Farewell," the first-person story of a woman who escapes her tumultuous home country and travels to America, will continue its run as scheduled through Oct. 11.
All performances will take place at the Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted St.
