Jan. 11--Heidi Kettenring will star in "Applause," the latest production part of Porchlight Music Theatre's "lost" musicals staged-concert series.
Kettenring will play Margo Channing, a role originated by Bette Davis on film in "All About Eve," in Betty Comden and Adolph Green's musical about Broadway's leading lady and an ingenue who plans to steal more than the star's role.
Also included in the cast are Lauren Roesner as Eve Harrington and David Schlumpf as Bill Sampson, along with Michael Kingston, Jason Richards, Ryan Lanning, Khaki Pixley, Kyrie Courter, Elya Bottiger, James Nedrud, Jacob Gilchrist, Janelle Villas and Jake Ganzer.
Christopher Pazdernik will direct, with music direction by Nick Sula.
"Applause" will be presented March 1 -- 3 at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave.
