Jan. 20--Attorney Joseph Siprut has paid $1.25 million for a three-bedroom, 2,500-square-foot condominium unit in a recently constructed contemporary-style building in River North.
Siprut is known for representing college athletes in litigation over the long-term effects of head injuries. He was also the lawyer for a class-action lawsuit over Southwest Airlines' decision to stop honoring vouchers for free onboard alcoholic drinks, which resulted in a settlement worth up to $29 million.
Siprut's new condo has its own private elevator entry, a master bath with a rain shower, a kitchen with quartz countertops, stainless steel Bosch and Sub-Zero appliances and hardwood floors throughout. It has a 2,200-square-foot roof deck, along with a 200-square-foot all-seasons room on the rooftop with skyline views. The unit also includes two garage spaces.
