Nov. 03--A night after turning in a decent performance in his return to the net, Corey Crawford will get the call again for the Blackhawks.
Most expected coach Joel Quenneville to tap backup Antti Raanta against the Jets because of Chicago's back-to-back games, but Quenneville is summoning his ace.
"Corey is fine, more than fine," he said before the Hawks' 8 p.m. puck drop at the United Center. "He likes to play all the games, to be honest with you."
Winnipeg, meanwhile, is resting Ondrej Pavalec, which is a rare occurrence. The Jets' top goalie started 11 of the team's first 12 games and was brilliant Saturday night in a shutout in New York against the Rangers. The Jets won in a shootout, as Pavalec's record improved to 5-4-1.
Hutchinson lost his only start and has a save percentage of .864 in 40 minutes of play.
"He'll be the most rested guy in our lineup," Jets coach Paul Maurice said, "so he should be good."
