BRIEF: Harry Caray featured in MLB Network documentary

Jan. 27--Harry Caray was a Chicago icon and he'll have another celebrity with Chicago roots narrating a documentary about him. "CSI" actor and die-hard Cubs fan William Petersen will narrate "Holy Cow! The Story of Harry Caray."

The one-hour special, which debuts at 8 p.m. CT Feb. 2 on the MLB Netwok, will chronicle Caray's rise as the voice of Chicago baseball through 11 seasons in the White Sox broadcast booth and 16 seasons with the Cubs.

Caray's contemporaries, such as Pat Hughes, Steve Stone and Bob Costas, will describe how his quirky broadcast style and Caray-isms endeared him to a generation of baseball fans. Caray's grandson, Chip, a broadcaster with the Atlanta Braves, his wife, Dutchie, and a host of other big names (including comedian Jeff Garlin and former Cubs pitcher Rick Sutcliffe) share their experiences and discuss Harry's impact.
