BRIEF: Hannibal Buress weighs in on his favorite music in Spotify series

Jan. 27--Chicago comedian Hannibal Buress weighs in on his favorite music as he kicks off his Spotify residency Wednesday.

Buress, who grew up on the West Side, will choose songs and provide commentary in six monthly shows that are presented as playlists. The first show, available Wednesday, can be accessed by Spotify's premium users.

Raekwon, Tribe, Nas, Eminem and K-Ci and JoJo are some of Buress' favorite artists, according to Spotify. Past celebrities who have hosted Spotify shows include British artist Big Narstie and DJ Rob da Bank.

Buress, who starred in last month's Mark Wahlberg film "Daddy's Home," is set to appear in the Netflix special "Comedy Camisado" Feb. 5.
