Oct. 09--The Chicago Cubs tweaked their National League Division Series roster Friday morning by adding pitcher Jason Hammel and dropping outfielder Quintin Berry.
Hammel will be available in relief for the first two games of the series at St. Louis. If he doesn't pitch in the first two games, it's likely he'll start the fourth game at Wrigley Field.
Berry was on the NL wild-card game roster primarily as a pinch-running specialist.
The Cubs will carry 11 pitchers and 14 position players.
