Jan. 20--A shooting at a Boston hospital Tuesday has left the gunman dead and a doctor in critical condition.
Boston police said Stephen Pasceri, 55, walked into the second floor of Brigham and Women's Hospital about 11 a.m. armed with a handgun, according to the department's Twitter account.
Pasceri then asked for a doctor and shot him twice, according to Boston Police Commissioner William Evans. The name of the doctor, who sustained life-threatening injuries, has not been released.
"We're not sure of the possible motive, but it was clear [the doctor] was targeted," Evans said.
Evans said after the doctor was shot, Pasceri went into a nearby room and shot himself to death.
