Oct. 12--Neo-Futurist founding director Greg Allen will adapt and direct Ibsen's "Ghosts" as part of Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co.'s final season. It will be Allen's first, and last, show with the company.
Allen's take on "Ghosts" promises to put an irreverent spin on the battle between Mrs. Alving's meta-theatrical enlightenment and the traditional teachings of Pastor Manders.
The cast includes Kirk Anderson (Jacob Engstrand), Carolyn Hoerdemann (Mrs. Alving), Catherine Lavoie (Regina Engstrand), Gage Wallace (Oswald Alving) and Stephen Walker (Pastor Manders).
"Ghosts" plays Nov. 8 -- Dec. 20 at Angel Island, 735 W. Sheridan Rd.
