BRIEF: Goose Island releasing Madame Rose, Juliet in 2015

June 25--Two of Goose Island Beer Co.'s fabled "sisters" will return in late 2015, and with new labels, the brewery said today.

Juliet, a Belgian-style wild ale aged in red wine barrels with blackberries, will be available in October and November. Madame Rose, a Belgian-style brown ale aged with cherries in red wine barrels, will be released in December.

Madame Rose was released last year for the first time since 2012; Juliet will be seeing its first release since 2013. Both will be distributed on draft and in 765 milliliter bottles.

The sisters series of barrel-aged sour beers also includes occasional releases such as Lolita, Gillian and Halia. 2015 marks the first time that all five sisters will be released in one calendar year.

The beers, which can spend up to 18 months aging in barrels, will continue to be sporadic rather than annual releases, the brewery said.
