BRIEF: Goodman's 'War Paint' adds two Chicago actors, others to cast

May 26--Casting is complete for the new musical "War Paint" starring Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole as dueling makeup mavens, Goodman Theatre announced Thursday.

Joining the cast are Chicago actors Mary Ernster and David Girolmo, along with Leslie Donna Flesner, Joanna Glushak, Chris Hoch, Mary Claire King, Steffanie Leigh, Erik Liberman, Barbara Marineau, Stephanie Jae Park and Angel Reda.

As previously announced, "War Paint" stars LuPone and Ebersole as the cosmetic titans Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden, with John Dossett as Arden's husband and Douglas Sills as Rubinstein's confidante.

"War Paint," features a score composed by Scott Frankel with lyrics by Michael Korie and a book by Doug Wright. Michael Greif will direct, with choreography by Christopher Gattelli. The production runs June 28-Aug. 14 at the Goodman Theatre, 170 N. Dearborn St.
