BRIEF: 'Good Morning America' to kick off 40th anniversary bus tour in Chicago

Nov. 13--"Good Morning America" is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a 40-hour continuous broadcast and a bus tour set to kick off Tuesday in Chicago.

"Top Chef" alumnus and Siena Tavern chef Fabio Viviani, ABC correspondent Nick Watt, Chicago Bulls mascot Benny the Bull and the Jesse White Tumblers are scheduled to be at the show's celebration at North Avenue Beach from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., an ABC spokeswoman said. The bus is scheduled to head to Detroit after the Chicago stop.

The 40-hour broadcast -- which will include appearances by former "GMA" co-anchor Charlie Gibson, an Evanston native; "GMA" meteorologist Ginger Zee, who used to work at Chicago's NBC station; and former Chicago weatherman John Coleman, the first weathercaster on "GMA" -- will air from 4 p.m., Tuesday and 8 a.m., Thursday.

One Direction is slated to perform and stars from "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" are scheduled to discuss the movie during the 40-hour marathon.
