BRIEF: 'Glee' actor Mark Salling arrested on suspicion of possessing child porn

Dec. 29--Los Angeles police detectives arrested "Glee" actor Mark Salling on Tuesday on suspicion of having child porn, authorities said.

Salling, 33, was arrested by the LAPD's Internet Crimes Against Children task force Tuesday morning after officers served a search warrant at his home in the 9900 block of Helen Avenue in Shadow Hills, said Officer Tony Im.

Police were looking for child pornography, Im said. Jail records show Salling is being held on $20,000 bail.

Details of the allegations against Salling weren't immediately available.

Salling played the school bad-boy Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the Fox series that wrapped up earlier this year.
