BRIEF: Glass-clad house for sale in Malibu was a location for the series 'Shark'

Oct. 19--The striking Malibu house that was featured on the CBS series "Shark" as the home of James Woods' character is for sale at $1.895 million.

Built in 2001 and designed by architect Finn Kappe, the contemporary retreat uses imported Indonesian woods, steel and expanses of glass to blend with and take in the scenic setting. Walls of doors open to the outdoors.

The living room is surrounded on three sides by 20-foot-tall walls of glass. There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,002 square feet of living space.

Panoramic views capture the surrounding hillsides and Las Flores Canyon.

The tri-level house sits on more than an acre with carport parking and an outdoor kitchen with seating and a fire pit.

"Shark," which ran from 2006 to 2008, starred Woods as a Los Angeles lawyer.

The property last changed hands two years ago for $1.51 million.

Michael Maganza of Brentwood Real Estate Group is the listing agent.
