Oct. 21--Don't ask Giuliana Rancic about her former "Fashion Police" co-host Kathy Griffin.
When the New York Daily News asked Rancic last week if Griffin threw "Fashion Police" under the bus when she quit the show earlier this year, Rancic said, "I can't comment on that," then motioned at her husband Bill, adding, "I can't say it. He can." Bill Rancic responded with a "Hell, yes" look, according to the Daily News.
Griffin, who grew up in Oak Park, announced in March she was leaving the E! show after seven episodes because she didn't want to "use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference." Giuliana Rancic still stars on "Fashion Police" but left her longtime E! News co-anchor role this summer to focus on her family, which recently moved to Chicago full-time.
When asked by the Daily News if her more frequent appearances on HSN to promote her G by Giuliana line were a breath of fresh air, Bill Rancic replied, "From your mouth to God's ear!"
Said Giuliana: "Stop saying that! You're so bad! Bottom line: It's just really nice to be doing what I'm very passionate about."
