Feb. 05--A girl was seriously hurt in a domestic-related stabbing early Friday in the Little Village neighborhood on the West Side, police said.
The girl, described only as a "female juvenile," was inside a home in the 2700 block of South Trumbull Avenue when she was stabbed, said Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago police spokesman.
The girl suffered cuts to her face and neck. She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was listed in serious condition, Gaines said.
A person of interest was being questioned, according to police.
No other information was immediately available.
