BRIEF: Girl, 17, went missing 8 days ago from Bronzeville

Aug. 16--Chicago police are asking for the public's help in finding a 17-year-old girl who went missing eight days ago from the South Side's Bronzeville neighborhood.

Bianca Davis was last seen Aug. 8 in the 700 block of East 42nd Street. Police said she may be carrying a black "Forever 21" bag.

She is known to frequent the lakefront area from 43rd to 63rd streets, and the area of 69th and Throop streets, police said.

Davis is described as a black girl with a medium complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 foot 3 and about 128 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the Chicago Police Area Central Detectives Unit at 312-747-8380.
