BRIEF: Girl, 16, went missing 2 weeks ago near Washington Park

Oct. 08--A 16-year-old girl went missing two weeks ago on the city's South Side near Washington Park, police said.

Maia Hunwick-Bailey was last seen Sept. 25 in the 6000 block of South King Drive. She was wearing a red windbreaker, a black shirt, colorful leggings and black high-top gym shoes, police said.

Hunwick-Bailey is known to frequent the Rogers Park neighborhood, and the areas of Wilson and Magnolia avenues and Fullerton and Ashland avenues, police said.

She is described as a black girl with a light complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call 911 or contact the Chicago Police Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
