BRIEF: Girl, 16, went missing 10 days ago from Woodlawn neighborhood

Aug. 21--A 16-year-old girl went missing 10 days ago on the South Side in the city's Woodlawn neighborhood, police said.

Netalya Williams was last seen Aug. 11 in the area of the 6500 block of South Minerva Avenue. She was wearing a navy-blue shirt, stone-washed blue jeans and a blue jean shirt that was wrapped around her waist, police said.

Williams is known to frequent the areas of 62nd Street and Stony Island Avenue, and 75th Street and St. Lawrence Avenue, police said.

She is described as a black girl with a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and 100 pounds.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the Chicago Police Area Central Detective Unit at 312-747-8380 or call 911.
