BRIEF: Girl, 15, went missing more than 2 weeks ago near Washington Park

May 03--Police are asking for the public's help finding a 15-year-old girl who went missing more than two weeks ago in the city's Washington Park neighborhood.

Makiylah Drane was last seen April 18 in the 6000 block of South Prairie Avenue. She is known to frequent the areas of 79th and Wentworth Street, the 8000 to 8300 blocks of South LaSalle Street and Chatham Park, police said.

Makiylah is described as a black girl with a medium complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighs about 130 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380 or call 911.
