BRIEF: Girl, 15, went missing in Washington Park neighborhood

April 19--Police said a 15-year-old girl went missing more than a week ago on the South Side in the city's Washington Park neighborhood.

Yasmine "Ray Ray" Bond was last seen April 7 in the area of the 5800 block of South Michigan Avenue. She was wearing a green Army-type jacket, khaki pants and black Jordan gym shoes. She has a nose piercing on the right side and may be wearing black, pink or red plastic framed glasses, police said.

Yasmine frequents the area near 115th and Aberdeen streets.

She is described as a black girl with a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call 911 or contact Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
