BRIEF: Girl, 15, went missing 2 days ago in Washington Park neighborhood

Sept. 19--Police are asking for the public's help locating a girl who went missing Thursday on the South Side in the city's Washington Park neighborhood.

Mikaylah Martin, 15, was last seen Sept. 17 in the area of the 5700 block of South Prairie Avenue. Police said she frequents the areas of 57th Street and Wentworth Avenue, 57th Street and Damen Avenue, and 119th Street and Yale Avenue.

Mikaylah is described as a black girl with a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Chicago Police Area Central Detectives Unit at 312-747-8380.
