Dec. 12--Police are asking for the public's help finding a girl who went missing Thursday afternoon from the city's Logan Square neighborhood.
Desiree Vega, 15, was last seen about 3:45 p.m. Thursday leaving her home on the 1900 block of North St. Louis Avenue, said police.
She was wearing a gray sweatshirt with a Bible verse printed on it, dark sweatpants and gray Jordan gym shoes. She also wears glasses, police said.
Desiree is described as a Hispanic girl with an olive complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.
