BRIEF: Girl, 14, missing from South Side home for 5 days

Aug. 08--Police are asking for help in finding a 14-year-old girl who has been missing for about five days.

Alexandria "Alex" Hart was last seen Monday in the 6300 block of South Elizabeth Street, according to an alert from the Chicago Police Department.

Alexandria is 5-foot-1 and weighs about 105 pounds. She has brown eyes, brown hair and a light complexion, according to the alert.

The girl also has a tattoo on her chest, the release said.

She was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and white Michael Jordan gym shoes, according to the alert.

Anyone with information about the girl's whereabouts should contact Area South detectives at 312-747-8274.
