BRIEF: Girl, 14, missing from Noble Square neighborhood

May 04--Police are looking for a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from the Noble Square neighborhood for about a week.

Makayla Bennett has been missing from Night Ministry in the 1100 block of North Noble Street and was last seen April 27, according to a statement from the Chicago Police Department.

Makayla also is known to visit the Lawndale and Garfield Park area as well as the area near Washington Street between Western and Ashland avenues, police said.

She is 5-foot-3, weighs about 110 pounds, and has brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion.

Anyone with information about Makayla should contact Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
