BRIEF: Girl, 14, goes missing on the South Side

March 25--Police are looking for a 14-year-old girl who went missing Monday on the South Side in the city's Washington Park neighborhood.

Jonell "Joney" Anderson went missing from the 6000 block of South Michigan Avenue. She often wears a pink coat, blue jeans, and yellow, green and blue Nike gym shoes, police said.

Jonell is known to frequent the area of 75th Street and Stewart Avenue, police said.

She is described as a black girl with a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 95 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information about Jonell should call the Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380 or call 911.
