BRIEF: Girl, 11, missing on West Side since Thursday

March 04--Chicago police are asking for the public's help finding an 11-year-old girl who went missing Thursday on the West Side in the city's Lawndale neighborhood.

Laronda Phillips was last seen at a relative's house in the area of 21st Place and Pulaski Road. Police said she frequents the areas of Lockwood Avenue and Madison Street, and Roosevelt and Pulaski roads.

Laronda is described as a black girl with a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She is 4 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs about 120 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Area Central Detective Unit at 312-747-8380.
